About This Series:
Across thirteen cycles spanning hundreds of thousands of years, humanity has risen to greatness and collapsed into ruin. But the Thirteen Cycles are not the only instances of humanity engineering its own end. The Lost Cycles document parallel branches of human civilization that splintered from the main species’ lineage, at different times, on different worlds, each collapsing in isolation. Though separated by millions of miles and thousands of years, the humans of the Lost Cycles still mirror the actions of their distant kin, repeating the same follies of self-destruction across the stars.
